Star Wars fan and AI fanatic Goran Vuksic has mixed 3D printing and the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Developer Package to create a pit droid, a beloved bot from the movie collection that repairs and maintains podracers.
Vuksic, initially from Croatia however now based mostly in Sweden, has used his spare time as an engineering supervisor to improve the droid’s capabilities, making it an enticing demo at tech conferences throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.
As a member of NVIDIA Inception and Jetson AI Specialist, Goran has been concerned in AI and IT for over a decade. He was impressed by sci-fi movies and has all the time imagined robots interacting with the actual world.
