Communications Contractor
Brian has labored inside natural agriculture for over 20 years. Whereas he didn’t develop up on a farm, his curiosity was sparked when volunteering with the Landless Peasant Motion in Brazil as a young person. In faculty, he studied beneath Marianne Sarrantonio within the Sustainable Agriculture program on the College of Maine. Following seasonal internships at numerous crop/livestock farms, he labored beneath Dr. Michael Bomford on soil-borne illness management in natural vegetable programs at Kentucky State College. He has 8 years expertise as a small farm operator and with industrial, natural, value-added processing, and was a co-founder of the Natural Affiliation of Kentucky. Lately, Brian labored with land-based non-profits with a concentrate on education schemes, together with White Oak Farm and Training Middle and the Vesper Meadow Training Program. He at the moment lives on a farm in Indiana close to Louisville and is launching a farm-based non-profit centered on land-connected crafts together with his companion. When Brian isn’t within the workplace, you can probably discover him out on the farm or mountaineering close to water, or, simply as possible, within the water. Â
