It is simply the third week of September and the shares are screaming “fall”! Acorn squash, broccoli and kale is again! Farmer Matt planted some fall radishes for me (as a result of I really like them so) and I am sharing them with you.

Storage: In an hermetic container within the fridge.
Makes use of: Cooked is greatest

Kohlrabi
These are distinctive when peeled and sliced thinly as a snack.
Storage: In an hermetic container within the fridge.
Makes use of: Uncooked/Cooked
When to make use of: Inside 5 days
Acorn Squash
An early fall season winter squash. Slice in half (lengthwise) and place face down on a baking sheet or dish. Bake at 350F till the flesh is smooth. Serve with butter and salt & pepper.
Storage: On the counter for as much as 5 days.

When to make use of: Inside 5 days
Crimson Tomatoes
Storage: On the counter – ripe when deep pink.
Makes use of: Uncooked/Cooked
When to make use of: Inside a day when ripe.
Mini Broccoli (Broccolini)
Eat the entire thing – stems, florets and leaves!
Storage: In an hermetic container within the fridge.
Makes use of: Cooked

Crimson Radishes
Storage: In an hermetic container within the fridge.
