Google is testing utilizing colours for the +matter search bar refinements, these bubble buttons you typically get underneath this search bar in Google Search. I see regular white buttons, then gray, blue and inexperienced, however I’m positive there are extra.
This was noticed by Ethan Lazuk who knowledgeable me of this on Twitter however I can replicate it in some cell browsers (not all) and listed here are the varied colours I noticed. You may click on on the pictures to enlarge, when you like:

This was not within the SGE interface for me, however I do marvel if Google is attempting to get the subject in design sync with one another?
I’m not positive if I prefer it or not.
